IS THE FACTS OF LIFE SERIES ON DVD/BLU-RAY?
Yes, currently the official complete 1st and 2nd seasons were released in May 2006 on DVD. The Complete Third Season was released in October 2006 on DVD. The Fourth Season was released in May 2010 and The Complete Fifth Season was released November 2nd, 2010. Click here to find more information.

I AM CONFUSED! WHY DOESN'T SONY RELEASE THE REMAINING SEASONS? HOW DID SHOUT GET THE RIGHTS TO RELEASE THE SERIES AFTER SEASON THREE?
Sony is a major studio, in order to release sets they need to make a profit. After selling each season on dvd, for any television show, the sales decrease with each release because only die-hard fans keep collecting the show, especially when the economy is bad like we have seen in the middle of the decade (2000's). Shout Factory has previously boughten the home video rights to release the show (seasons 4 and 5) on DVD from Sony Pictures. They pay Sony to release the series, so all in all both companies win (Shout pays a fee for each episode/season they release, but still make a profit with the mark-up that is associated with the dvd box set.) WHEN IS THE FACTS OF LIFE COMPLETE 6TH, 7TH, 8TH, AND 9TH SEASONS GOING TO BE RELEASED ON DVD? IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?
Sony/Shout has not yet officially announced when or if they will release the 6th-9th seasons. Shout has informed us that as of 3/30/2011 they do not have the rights to Season Six through Nine, but would love to release the series on DVD. This is standard as Shout! and Sony only acquire rights on a per season basis. This does not mean that the series will not ever be completed on DVD but rather Sony and Shout! need to work out a deal to release the rest of the seasons on DVD, unless Sony wants to continue the series themselves. When we do become aware we will post the news immediately. Yes there is something you can do to help get releases of Facts of Life on DVD - buy the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th seasons on DVD. I SAW A WEBSITE PROMOTING THE FACTS OF LIFE COMPLETE SERIES ON DVD! IS THIS TRUE? SHOULD I BUY IT?
Yes this is true; however, these DVD's of The Facts of Life are pirated. Pirated means that it was recorded on television (i.e. --> Nick At Nite, TVLand, USA Network). Piracy is illegal. You can purchase these shows at your own risk (I don't know whether it is illegal for the buyer to buy pirated copies). It is illegal for the pirates (sellers) to sell you a copy. Most times people do not recieve the DVD's and/or they are bad quality and are cut and contain commercials, etc. We do NOT recommend you buying a pirated copy, buy at your own risk.

IS THE FACTS OF LIFE GOES TO PARIS, DOWN UNDER, AND REUNION MOVIES AVAILABLE ON VHS OR DVD?
The Facts of Life Goes to Paris was released (un-cut) with the Complete 4th Season set. This movie has been unseen in it's entirety since the original premiere in 1982. We regret to inform you that Down Under (Season Nine) and the Reunion have not yet been officially announed. I predict the Down Under movie with the ninth season, or at the end of the eigth (if they want to release the reunion with the 9th). VHS is now obsolete and manufacturers have stopped making VHS Casettes in 2006.

IS THE FACTS OF LIFE SERIES ON VHS?
Columbia House was selling the series on VHS, which is no longer available and is out-of-print. VHS is now obsolete and manufacturers have stopped making VHS Cassettes in 2006. We suggest you buy the DVD Season Set's as all the episodes originally released on VHS are now on DVD box sets.

WHERE CAN I FIND A CAST MEMBERS ADDRESS TO WRITE A LETTER?

IS THERE GOING TO BE A REUNION SHOW? WHEN IS IT?
